The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

It's an old Clint Eastwood spaghetti western made in the '60s. It's three hours long! I watched it with my roommate last night. It's about the Good guy (Clint Eastwood) who keeps being referred to only by his nickname Blondie, the Bad guy (Lee van Cleef), also referred to by his nickname Angel Eyes, and the Ugly guy, a rascal named Tuco. The movie's plot revolves around a shipment of gold coins everybody wants to get their hands on. The ending scene is the best part of the movie, when all three of them enter a graveyard and just look at each other menacingly until one of them pulls out a gun, when hell breaks loose. The part after that one is even better. I do not wish to spoil anything, I'll just say that this movie is a must-watch if you like westerns.

I just saw Battle Royale again after some years and it's really an amazing movie, really violent and gory but really good. If you felt, after watching the first hunger games, that there was no action evolved you will love this movie it compensates for the lack of action in Hunger Games. The premises is almost the same, a group of students is kidnapped and forced to kill each other until only survives. This rule was invented to control how the problems with over population.

I just watched a documentary yesterday called Blackfish, which focuses on the cruel and inhumane treatment of killer whales by places such as Sea World. It documents the deaths of several Sea World employees, as well as interviews former employees for their opinions. I was practically in tears when I saw how they really treated them, keeping them in 20ft x 30ft tubs for 2/3 of their life, in isolation. They remove them from their families as well. There was a particularly sad scene when a baby whale was being taken from it's mother and they were both screaming for each other. I was also surprised to discover that their brains are actually more evolved than humans in some regards, and the documentary shows how they have very complex emotions and bonds among each other.

Thanx for the review. I had it on hold at the library and cancelled it.

Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2. I've watched bad movies before but this one goes way beyond what I thought a bad movie should be. It made me make a firm decision that if I'm going to watch a 'kiddy' flick again then I'll go for Disney or Bluesky animation only.

I got bored last night and watched "Arabian nights". God, if that wasn't to make me feel sleepy, I'd never turn it on. Terrible! I know they were trying to be funny but it was really bad, like cheapest class movie with worst actors.

And I just wanted to watch something based on Tales of 1000 and 1 night... Thousand years passed and no one produced anything good based on this book yet.:willy_nilly:

Oh my, this is quite difficult. It has been so long since I last watched a movie. I have been so busy with college life. Hmm, anyway, if I can remember correctly, the last movie I watched was Michael Jackson's This Is It. I am a big Michael Jackson fan so I love watching that movie. For non-fans, I recommend that you watch the movie. It gives you an insight on the man, and on how much of a perfectionist he is. RIP MJ.

True! I wish the characters at least have acted differently because I really like the movie. I think it's based on the fairy-tale story called "Aladdin" or something. The cartoon is much better than the live-action movie, although they are different versions.

I watched Prisoners the other night, and it was an awesome movie. It was nothing like I had imagined the movie to be, and even at the end I was still unsure of exactly how it would end. I hate it when you can guess the ending before it happens. I highly suggest that everybody watches Prisoners.

Just watched Avatar again. Saw it in 3D a few years back when it first came out and it was absolutely amazing, still is though.
Ah, that movie.
I remember watching it a few days after its debut in 3D. It was mind-blowingly awesome.
Now that I think about it, the 3D effect seems more like a gimmick than a feature. Nowadays pretty much every A movie has all those 3D effects and whatnot. Is it actually necessary to add a 3D feature or it's just so they can milk us more?

Yesterday I saw Grown Ups 2 and I was kinda disappointed, I really liked the first one everything they did in a certain way felt natural but this second one just seems really "forced" which I did not enjoy. And the story in general wasn't that interesting overall.

Gravity in HD 3D. Mind completely blown.

Not the hugest fan of 3D generally speaking, but they used it really well, and I wonder if the mostly white on black color scheme helped erase the usual fuzzy effect that I notice in 3D flicks that try to give you a sweeping panorama (I'm looking at you Peter Jackson).

I want more space movies now, lots of 'em.

The last movie I watched was Red 2. I thought it was very good. I think I like the first one better, but the sequel was good too.

Last film I watched was Toy story. Everyday movie when you have kids. My baby has to see this movie in the morning and before bed so that is the last film I have watched. Do I enjoy it? Sometimes, but trust it does get old. :)

Just watched R.I.P.D. earlier tonight with my boyfriend. I had seriously low expectations for the film, after reading through bad comments and feedback on the Internet. It turns out it wasn't that bad. It had some funny moments, although Jeff Bridges' accent was quite annoying. Ryan was a dream to watch, though :D
