I'm the same way w/ Basic. It amazed me, watching it the 2nd time, how much stuff I missed the first time around. There's a huge clue in the opening scene!!!

My son loves kids movies sooo much he has seen damn near everyone since 1990. We are now working are way into the 1980's movies.

Kung Fu Hustle.

A friend recommended this to me and although I watched a dubbed version - it added to the hilarity. Good to see a martial arts movie that doesn't take itself too seriously - but it still had a decent enough story for this kind of thing with good fight scenes. Recommended.

If you watch the opening scene, when he's on the phone standing on the balcony, the 8 ball paper lantern is in the frame. Doesn't make sense until you see the end...then the next time you watch it, it's like "D'OH!!!"

Hmm. I'll give it a go when I get the chance. I like how the movie isn't very easy to follow, though.
