I like Mel Gibson but that film was just plain bad lol.

That's not because it's an anti-British film, it's just a pretty typical Roland Emmerich film. For a German, he makes a pretty staunch flag-waving American.

The 1970s made for tv one with John Travolta where in real life he got together with the woman who played his mum.
