That's fair enough.

I don't like The Godfather, and there's nothing anyone can do or say to make me believe otherwise :)

Everyone has films like that eh. Mine is The Shawshank Redemption. I didn't think it was as good as the plaudits it keeps on getting suggest. If ever 'overly long' could be said of a movie it would be of that one.

It's based off one of the greatest modern novels after all.

Does the movie end like the book? If not, don't say what happens. :)

SR blew me away. I was not anticipating the ending and it was exhilarating!

I agree w/ Zorak on this one...No Country for Old Men was an EXCELLLENT movie!!! And it's soooooo funny to see the bad guy when he's all cleaned up...he is a VERY handsome man, but you would never know it in that movie.

Good to see i am not alone on this i don't like it either.

The original Godfather is *the* classic classy mobster film. It's a work of art. But we don't all like the same art. :)

Maybe someone can explain to me why I really enjoyed Vicky Christina Barcelona? Not normally my kind of movie, but maybe it was because Woody Allen directed it. I was entertained and all it was was human relationships.

Saw "Get Him to the Greek" tonight. Must say it didn't live up to the hype, but it definitely provided some laughs. Not worth paying full price to see, but definitely rent worthy.

Overall, I'd rate it a 7/10.

Thank god I'm not alone! I really dont understand all the hype about the Shawshank Redemption being one of the greatest films ever. It was OK but was really let down by one of the weak central plots, i.e. his method of escape, it was really stupid and unrealistic.
