i took 2 years of french in high school, i can remember some...

was there any particular reasons you guys learned those languages or do you guys even still use them?

i learned latin so i wouldnt have to take a foreign language in college for my field of study. also, at my high school, the only latin course in the tri-county area is taught. i wanted to learn the basics of the romantic languages and latin is the root of anglo languages as well. so this will aid in my SAT grammar field.... plus it is really easy. and i graduate and get my diploma as a latin high honor scholar and get this little crossove ribbon thing to wear over my cap and gown- looks good on transcripts...

I use mine often..Vendors, Friends, idiots that do not speak english in Walmart and the Cashiers cannot understand them...
