Yeah, but ya know what? There are just some things about the girls we truly love that are not hidden by how you girls look. It's true! You can be sicker than a dog and look like you got run over by a cement truck and we, still, know that our beautiful girl is under there and that she'll be back when she's feeling better. Trust me.

I stayed with my aunt and uncle one winter, they're both in their mid 60's and have been married for 45+ years.
We were sitting around the supper table one night talking and my aunt says she adores her husband after all these years, and is amazed how he looks at her as if she's still 20 and beautiful. He piped up and said "to me, you are".
I thought it was so sweet.
and this from the man that wears his favorite shirt that says: Marriage, the only war where you sleep with the enemy" Hahaha....I love them.

I wish men understood that just because they may call you into the bathroom when they're on the crapper to "shit chat" about something, does NOT give them permission to invade our potty time!!
That telling us you have feelings for us, even though we're friends, won't make us run away from you...even if we don't feel the same way. You never know until you tell us...we could feel the same way.

Yeah, I have to wonder how many times I screwed up.
I just recently found out that a guy I had a HUGE crush on about 15 years ago wanted to date me. He didn't want to ruin our friendship, so he never told me.
But I've done the same thing...I've held back and not told people how I feel about them b/c I felt like I had no chance. Not the smartest thing, for sure.
