That is pretty harsh. Everyone is annoying in one form or another.
Maybe on the bus you could bring a book and read ... giving her the cue to 'shhhhhhhh' a bit more.

Don't get me wrong, I sure don't always get it right, but well .. you know what I mean.
lol obviously Grace has never actually had the pleasure of being around one of these people.
There are annoying people, there is being annoyed, and there is being annoyed repeatedly by an annoying person .. and the latter of those 3, after about amonth .. is enough to make you want to chew your own arm off.
We have one of these people at school .. he's in all 3 classes I am taking .. and in every class .. even the teachers are tiring of him LOL .. because he NEVER shuts up.
He talks during class, he talks while we are trying to work, he talks after class while you are trying to make up for the work he interupted during class .. it's insane.
What does he talk about you're wondering, I'm sure .. he talks about EVERYTHING. It doesn't matter what it being discussed .. he's either done it, going to do it, knows about it, knows someone who knows about it, knows someone who's done it, ect lol.
He doens't take polite "cues" either, most times these type people won't/don't. It's either jus tput up with them or be rude 9 times out of 10. and after a while .. you can't help it anymore :24: .. and sometimes .. being rude doens't even work (we've all tried it at school .. he just keeps talking lmao)

Oh no, I've been around the type of person you've described. I may have even been that person in someone else's eyes a time or two for all I know.
When I encounter people that get on my nerves I try my best to let it stretch me so that I can build character instead of tear down theirs. Mind you I do not do well at this all the time, but I do at least try.
They will at least feel loved while I'm pulling the trigger. LOL!
I think annoying people need to know that they are annoying .. so they can learn to not be annoying LOL .. it's like lying to them if you just smile and nod. They'll never know they are annoying if you don't let on that you are annoyed.

I'm all for direct, but one does not have to be so harsh or act like an arse in order to do so. People that react aggressively instead of assertively bring a whole new set of annoying qualities to the scenario.

Oh yeah...annoying co-workers.
Listen to your iPod. Pretend to be on the phone. Take work into an unused office. Get your desk moved. Claim you have a headache and tell her that every word she says grinds into your head. Tell her your wife/girlfriend is jealous and she can't talk to you anymore. Suddenly get diarrhea and rush to the bathroom when she starts a soliloquy. Suddenly remember you left the window down in the car. Suddenly claim you have a contagious condition and she needs to get away. That should be a start.
