I'm not taking sides but I would not categorize mhtal3at as a troll. Trolling is when you create a post or make comments with the exclusive intent on irritating the hell out of other readers. I believe he feels Israel is in the wrong, but it just so happens this conversation has degraded to the tossing insults phase. :)

OMG someone who really thinks, I swear the God I am not taking sides subjectively, but I have reasons, and really thank you for not going with the herd, the insult thing is not mine if you noticed, I never start insulting, u can see it is only a reaction, and people going back with their words, like saying Islam blinds people, then they say they're not anti-religion.

What do you mean by educating?
To change someone's mind, you need to give them a reason. You need to educate them about a situation. To educate them, you need to make sure you're not shutting them off. You need to acknowledge their position and start from there. It takes empathy and is far more difficult than indulging in a screamfest with those diametrically opposed to you. It's less fun, too, but ultimately more fulfilling.

justify this

[vid deleted]

Lets see how you are going to justify this, either by suicide bombing or the Intifada, come on, I haven't laughed in 4 days!
Was this remark meant for me (who you have no fight with), Minor (who you complimented), or someone else?

My impression is that whenever a group of people are occupied by another in this type of a conflict, this kind of event is a common occurrence. There is no justification, but it is a fact. At the higher levels policy is made, at the lower levels, the same as the boat boarding, tragedies occur regularly.

If you've not said it all ready, mhtal3at, would you mind saying where you are from (country)? What do you think needs to be done to resolve this conflict? Can Israel live peacefully with it's neighbors if it takes the right steps? Is there a group of zealots there who want Israel destroyed?

Egypt

To resolve this conflict Israel has to look for peace, but why would they do this while they need war and blood, and always get aids from the US? They can cover their crimes and murders.

There are no zealots, just people who are not said lies to.

Can Israel live peacefully with it's neighbors if it takes the right steps?

Can Israel's neighbours live in peace if Israel take the right steps? They answer to my question is yes.
About yours, Israel can't live peacefully, because they hate peace.
From where I stand, Israel is manipulating Nile-Source countries to build dams to stop the Nile from going to Egypt, while we have a peace treaty with Israel. A treaty that made all Arabs hate Egypt and accuse us of normalization with an enemy country, that killed our sons, ad murdered our captives.

Go read Son of Hamas by Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of Sheikh Hassan Yousef, who was a founding member of Hamas. He provides some remarkable insights into the mentality of Hamas and the Palestinians, along with facts about the Intifadas that most people aren't aware of.

I don't prefer such people, the son of an important member, there's something you should know, you'll never be interested in people who convert from Islam, trust me they really have a demented way of thinking, specially people who try to get attention, he escaped after his got sick of his father. I really want to meet someone who converts from Islam that doesn't go on TV, it only shows that they are not much, and you gotta see the way they talk in TV, let alone books that they never wrote, reminds me of Hussein Mohamed Farrah, the son of Aided, he was adopted by the US. US has a great policy, when they control a man in position, they don't want to let go of him, or him leaving their umbrella, so they take their sons at theirs, so as not to lose control of the man they have, U have plenty of examples of leaders with sons in the US.

My impression is that in the past, Israel has gotten blanket support from the U.S. since its creation in the late 40's. I think/hope that is changing. The way it was created was a recipe for conflict. Yes some of that is hind sight, but when you carve out a large chunk of land inhabited by a group of people and tell them to move aside for another, well, it does not take a genius to figure that out, but apparently the decision makers thought it would work out and here we are 60 years later.

Israel has always been the U.S.'s ally in the Middle East. I grew up watching Israel being attacked but I admit that the new reporting in this country has always had a certain pro-Israel attitude. Most likely we have not been given both sides of the story, and I have seen Israel do things that doesn't help the situation. Such as establishing settlements in areas where they said they would not, collateral damage in their attacks, and riding roughshod over Arab neighborhoods as portrayed in the video you posted. The counter argument is that there are Muslims working very hard to harm Israel. Tit for tat, who started it? Who continues it? At times the level of hatred seems insurmountable.

U.S. Presidents have tried to involve themselves in the peace process, (and I'm not talking about W who spent one weekend at it) but the obstacles are large. One of my hopes is that the Israel people will get so tired of living in a war zone, they will vote in people who move the country towards peace. But the obstacle I see are the hawks who promise the Israel people security. Whether they can deliver security or not is besides the point. Security trumps everything else.

In the final analysis, despite the tragedies which are every day occurrences in this war, both sides if they can't forgive, at a minimum must be able to set the past aside and move forward. The U.S. would help tremendously by moving towards a neutral position.

You wrapped it all up, Israel just wants US to help them, and whose law is to be applied when US aids Israel with militaristic supplies, and Palestinians can't get help, not even in the form of nutritive aids. Clear terrorism.
