I didn't think it was, personally... some girl I went to school with was calling it animal cruelty,
Ask yourself if it would be cruel to train a kid to do something using any form of mistreatment. Fairly simple answer imo.really animal cruelty?
My opinion is that if you need a whip or have to use any kind of object to train an animal then the animal was not meant to be trained. I've taught all of my pets tricks with rewards of treats. That's what worked and anything else would be cruel.really animal cruelty?
I always thought the same thing...but I have a couple of really good friends who are dog handlers on the police force and one of them has to use a bark collar on his dog b/c he just HOWLS when in the car and, if he doesn't put the collar on him, dispatch can never hear what he's saying over his dog. LOLElectric collars that zap your dog when it barks, those annoy me. Dogs bark, it's what they do. It's like telling men not to masturbate, they're gonna do it.

I think that Bark Collars are cruel. :thumbdownElectric collars that zap your dog when it barks, those annoy me.
Blech...thanks for that mental image. LOLSo does he also strap a mini shock collar to his pecker to keep him from masturbating so he can push the "talk" button and get through to dispatch and still keep his other hand on the wheel?
Here's a toughy: Is it animal cruelty to use WHIP CREAM to get an animal to do a trick???
Lol that amused me. I have images of horse riders spraying their horses with whip cream during horse racing.
I know lots of humans I would like to use a fucking whip on and not to make 'em howl with delight I might add.
