I never said the Old Testament was irrelevant. What I did say is this... we live under grace. Grace came with the crucifixion. Where there is a testament, there must be a testator. Jesus was/is the testator of the New Testament.
Look at it as your Last Will and Testament... if you will. People make up their wills, so that their will, will be done. Make sense?
The Old Testament is used as history... it has nothing to do with our salvation.
