Since it's using film and a lot of people consider photography and cinematography to be art, I'd say that yeah it sort of is.
Well to me I do not think that pornography is a form of art no as it involves indulging in adult and sexual actions and it spoils the minds of those who are watching such act. Though even in the old times there are some arts and crafts which were done by the Romans et al that is pornographic.I asked a few people this question in the past, and they emphatically stated that porn was not a form of art in their mind. To me, it kind of does qualify as art. A lot of art is a reflection of the society in which we live in, and porn does that very well too. It inspires you to feel - whether the feeling is arousal, disgust, or sleaze.
So, is porn a form of art?
The topic concerning if pornography can be called art is still being debated. While both pornography and mainstream film involve visual narrative and may include aspects of cinematography, sound design, and other aesthetic approaches, there are some significant variations between the two.Porn is art the same way any other form of film is art
You make good comments concerning pornography's possible detrimental effects. It is true that exposure to pornography may foster harmful views regarding sex and relationships, as well as contribute to the normalization of forceful or non-consensual conduct. It lets you learn bad habits and then many people require that these practices are done during partnership by force either they go to force their partner to do them while in a relationship a woman has full right to refuse such practice or accept it. It also let people imagine they could do such an act with any girl on the street even if he has no relationship with this girl and this leads to criminality. It is far away from being an art.
While pornography is frequently developed with the primary goal of sexually exciting the spectator, there are certain cases where it may combine elements of creative expression, such as cinematography, sound design, and even narration. However, whether these features are sufficient to designate pornography as a kind of art is subjective and debatable.I do not think it is any type of art to tell the truth, I think it is the opposite, maybe some erotic images without going too far can be, but pornography does not.
