Oh I agree...whatever 2 consenting adults do behind closed doors is their business.

I had a friend who acted out rape fantasy w/ her then boyfriend (now her husband). The line was so blurry that even afterwards he was concerned and kept asking her if he had just raped her. I would assume that a safety word should be put in place for something like that...so the guy would know if the resistance was part of the game or real...wouldn't you think???

That's the thing too, it must be quite difficult for some men to act that out.

No, not even close.

Submission and domination is still a completely consensual activity.

Consent is the key word.

Submission is just that submitting to something you choose not to do.
Domination is making one submit .

As far as consent..if its consenting there there is no domination or submission.

Its a slippery slop..you could be tagging her..go in the poop shoot ...she doesnt like it...So now is it part of the act or is she serious?

My position stands..to want to be dominated is desiring a level of rape...If full consent is present then there is no Domination or submission

Yes, there is domination and submission, even with consent. The consent is prior to the act, and you should always have a safe word in play just in case things go too far for one or both parties involved. As far as your example goes, it can be part of the act and serious. If the person is truly serious about playing out their rape fantasy, then they aren't going to use a safe word even if they don't necessarily like what's happening, because one would have to assume that you wouldn't like it if it were actual rape. Because the consent portion comes prior to any of these scenarios, you can still have domination and submission.

Consented domination isnt really domination..its a game..so there isnt any domination so to say.

This relates to prior posts of some girls liking it "rough"...which is ok ..but IMO one should use the word Dominate and Submit carefully when using them.

Although one can say "I like to be dominated",,thus providing consent per say..the actual act of domination is to force submission....which never took place as there was consent

Lets look at it this way..."I give you permission to rape me"..Consent is giving yes...but to a non consent act.
Makes no sense as this breaks down into the following...she gave me consent to have non consensual sex

If one is using a safe word then there really isnt domination as when the word is said the "Submitter" is "Dominate" and calling the shots.

This would make it ordinary sex per say....lets say you want some oral so you grab her head to ease it down there ..she simply shakes her head no or goes to do something different the communication is there just isnt a safe word...they all are safe so to say.

To add to above..I refuse to have sex with a woman who wants "game sex" as far as domination.
I want to know all boundaries and not feel as if I am doing something she may not like..but is only "tolerating"

Now if she come into the bedroom looking like wonder woman thats an entire different game..I would have no problem playing as she was pretty hot..I would have to submit ;)

Define "rough"...isnt submitting to domination a level of rape?

If you've consented to participate, then no it's not rape.

Consent is the key word.

Exactly.

I definitely don't judge anyone with a rape fantasy, but I know for myself, nothing in the world seems worse than rape. It's sickening to think about, and I truly feel for people who have been sexually assaulted.

The fantasy is the consent to pretend one doesn't consent. It's worlds different from the very definition of rape.

I imagine if you are participating in a rape fantasy, there might be a higher level of forcefulness, "domination" is a good word, but you are not getting the crap beat out of you and not in a life threatening situation. More than forced sex, rape is an act of violence. I imagine in the spectrum of rapists, there are different levels of threat but I imagine to get some minimal level of cooperation a threat must be exhibited or implied. Even play acting might slip over the edge of sensibility between consenting adults. Better not to go there imo. I prefer the "naughty nurse" fantasy myself. ;)

How is it not possible to rape your wife? If you force her to have sex, then what difference does it make if your married to her or not? Forcing anyone to have sex is rape.

Of course it is... forcing your wife into having sex is rape. But I wouldn't say it's like the rape that criminals commit... I think there is 2 degrees of rape... 1st degree being forcing you're wife/gf into sex, and 2nd degree, I think, is when thugs literally pop out the dark and start effing the woman and physically hurting her. So yes, 1st degree or 2nd degree is rape, but obv 2nd degree is worse. That's what I think.

If she doesnt say "No or stop" or try and push you away, or cry or something to show its unwanted.. how the hell are you supposed to know its unwanted? I mean if its because she is under the influence of drugs, yeah thats rape.

Remember boys, its not rape if you yell "Surprise" before hand.

The conventional wisdom of the girl who says "no" but does not really mean it, strikes me as either a male fantasy or women who are trying to be able to rationalize they were forced (against society standards) into having fun. This is not me making an excuse for rape. The idea behind rape fantasy seems to me to be token female resistance consummated with exciting, possibly rough sex. That could be reversed though, like the man is being hunted by sex starved Amazons...several women desirable. ;) My guess that if you want to venture into the world of rape fantasies, as in domination, you'd need to have an emergency "stop" word. I've never been into domination so I'm basing that on what I've read. :)

Raping a person is forcing another to have sex when they don't want to. So how is a person being married to the woman who's being forced to have sex with not rape?

If its a good marriage your wife wouldent call the cops if u did have sex with her when she didnt want to. The way I look at it, Your wife is your property, as you are your wives property.

It wouldn't be a good marriage if you are forcing yourself on your wife when she says no.

Yes, Although in some countries even our own some men believe that once he marries a woman they become their property. Which allows them to do whatever they want when they want. I personally believe that men who believe this need to go walk off a short pier and drown. :D
