There were and maybe still are states in the United states that dont consider it rape...while maybe legal,,still makes one a piece of shit.
Same holds true for those little nations that allow the mistreatment of women/of which they practice.

i think it's rape regardless of what culture and religion say because i find neither one a very valuable or intelligent part of life. i think her natural feelings matter. but, if she's convinced she has to have sex because of religion/culture, then i guess it would not be rape. the only person that can claim it rape is the person it's being done to.

I'm not an expert on the subject but I believe there was a time when it was a husband's right to have sex with his wife and it was her duty to have sex with him! You have to frame this within the women as second class citizens box... or from a male religious basis, the duty to submit, satisfy the man, and oh yes, procreate.

I too am no expert but the "time" you refer to is often called "half-time"
