It would take an amendment to the constitution to do what is claimed he did. Last time I looked it had been ages since the constitution was amended. I think the last attempt was the equal rights amendment dates to the 70's

Agreed! Your gun laws violate the constitution for starters. If the constitution was followed there wouldn't be an age limit on owning guns and you would be allowed to own any weapon you like.

Well that's a start. Head for the light! (and I'm not talking about the light when you croak ) Actually I do hate where the Bush Administration has taken this country. He belongs in jail, seriously. But he also deserves our forgiveness, (seriously) for being such a du-fuss.

I have stated before that the guy has been abysmal failure. Maybe even worse than Carter if that is even possible. I supported him initially and thought he was the right guy for the job. He mishandled the war about on par with how LBJ screwed around in Nam. I would have gladly voted for a better option 4 years ago but the dems once again could not put forth a decent candidate. Same as this year. As to jail for Bush that is laughable. if we jailed every politician for misleading and mismanaging we would have nobody in office. And while the dems don't want to hear it and think it is shifting blame the fact is they sat on their hands the last 8 years. both sides are culpable.

it's not about how it affects me now. it's about my rights as a citizen. the constitution gives me the right to privacy. the patriot acts have taken that away. every american should be completely outraged that the government can now go look at email, credit reports, wire tapping etc WITHOUT a warrant.
