This is one major problem we in third world countries have. We use to suffer brain drain. Now, she is residing in UK, depriving the native country the necessary help she should render for the betterment of her native country.
I don't really get what you are saying. So someone in a third world country who is intelligent, shouldn't leave that country because it will diminish the betterment? What if there is an opportunity to make a better life elsewhere? Should this be ignored?

Intelligence maybe relative. One can excel in
numbers while others in qualitative analysis. One maybe gifted with good memory skills and retention others are more on practical analysis
Not all may excel academically but not all excel in exceptional talent and skills we consider their kind exceptional intelligence.

Not all are gifted academically, there are dull but there are also people who excel in their skills and talent the intelligent people cannot make, so intelligence depends on your making.

I think real intelligence isn’t just about knowing facts or solving complex problems—it’s about adaptability. The ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn when faced with new information or challenges says a lot more than just having a high IQ. And then there’s wisdom—the ability to apply knowledge in a meaningful way. You can be the smartest person in the room, but if you lack judgment or self-awareness, it doesn’t count for much. So, for me, intelligence isn’t just one thing. It’s a mix of adaptability, emotional depth, creativity, and wisdom that makes someone truly intelligent.
