Um.... I spellted eye right.

I have a Scottish friend and her mother can speak in her mother tongue. I know it's English that's coming out of her mouth but I have to say it sure has a ring to it. I would have to rate it as my second favorite accent. Australian type speaking coming out of a female is one that really gets me cranked.

Now will you pass me the Haggis and spirits? eye....................

You did if talking about seeing through your eye. It is spelt 'aye'

I'm rubbish at all accents.

When I was in the play West Side Story at school, the teacher gave all my lines to another person because my Spanish accent sounded very VERY Welsh :(

EDIT: I am not Welsh. I have a home counties English accent though Zorak says I sound Northen *gives him dirty looks*

I get asked if I come from loads of different places, mostly up North. I never lived anywhere but here though.
in england we like the aussie accent:trustme

I quite like that one too

It is spelled that way but I never said I was Scottish. In case ya'll didn't notice Canadians spell some words different than our pals to the south.

ps: Um.... HK..... um.... spelt is a word but it has nothing to do with this topic. The one that would have been proper is spelted the way I spelted it which is " spelled ". Not trying to be picky... just pointing it out.

You know, I just realized you're from Scotland. Could you record yourself saying the following phrase and post it here?

"I come from a wee little land, where everyone says 'Hi, Hello, and GET YOUR BLOODY PIG OF ME LAND!'."

If you are asking me, then yes I can do. Just not today, I was out last night and sound like shit. Lol.

Ok yeah, I don't sound like that. They speak Glaswegian, west of Scotland accent. I am East. My accent is nicer :p Video was funny though and I have had the same problem with voice recognition in the past.

:D I speak weekly with friends there so i know what you mean by the east west. And yeah East is nicer and easier to understand. I always say to the westerners they sound like they are speaking Chinese when they go on a tangent and speak too fast for me to pick up what they are saying... and says a lot for me to not understand them as I can just about understand anyone.:24:
