at work! some of yall know or have figured out that i am having some major issues as work right now. on thursday i went and sat down with the owner of the company to talk to him as well as explain why the doctor had given me that week off. one of the things that the owner asked me to do was to type up a memo and post it about the employee meeting on thursday. yesterday i was passing by the office on my way home and decided to stop, type it up quick, post it and get the hell out of there.

as i am typing the VP (co-owner) of the company comes to talk to me. she wants to introduce me to the new guy that she just hired. no big deal. so i a getting ready to leave the new girl in the billing office comes up front to ask me a question. i answered her question and kept walking (needed to go potty) she asked me some stupid question that i cant exactly remember, and i said "no im not really talking to anyone today." and kept walking

as i open the bathroom door and try to walk in the bitch pushes the door forcefully into me. i walked out of the bathroom follow her into her office, where the VP is at as well. i told the VP that technically the new girl just assulted me. the new girl starts yelling at me "whatever, whatever" i inform the VP again what she had did and how i could call the cops and file a complaint on her. she proceeds to tell me that i dont know what i am talking about. i tell her that i am a criminal justice major as well as having SEVERAL family members in the police force. she starts talking very stupid to me.

i look at the vp and calmly say "sara i want you to tell her that she is not allowed to talk to me like that." the vp said i will i will. i again tell sara the exact same thing i had just said and said i wanted it said in front of me.

needless to say it didnt happen and i walked out pissed. sad part is i called the owner and NOTHING has been done as of now!!! its been 24 hours, stupid asses!

I would HAVE smashed the door straight back into her, then quit. Nothing warrents putting up with that shit....but not possible without risk of lawsuits and legal crap over there I guess.
I dont know how things work there, but you need to document everything thats gone on there and get it witnessed/notarised by a J.P or whatever you guys do there.

i have moved several emails from my work account to my personal one for documentation. i also have a copy of the text between me and the owner in regards to this incident yesterday. my step mom says that i have a claim if i want to pursure it that way. hostile work environment as well as the owners doing nothing about this other employee, oh yeah and they owe me $600 still

You gave the VP a chance to take action, as well as the owners. They've chosen to do nothing which tells me that they don't give a shit. The law will make them give a shit. I would pursue legal action, ASAP. Your "attacker" might be charged separately for her actions with the bathroom door.

You either have to force the issue and make them follow through or go the legal way..

But I think it's evident your time there will be numbered and I hate to say this but as unfair as that may be, it will only get worse.

I didn't know they paid you to tell people that "I'm not really talking today" when someone asks you a question.

Flip side to this story is you could be the one coming across as arrogant and a butt hole.

On a side note, telling someone you know the law because you're a criminal justice major is both lame and sad. BFD LOL

Not sure but if I read Fuzzy's OP right she was on HER own time, which would make it a even BFD if that was the case.

Even if it were the OP's "own time", the response could from the OP could of been worded with more professionalism.

Added the fact that if you want to climb up the ladder, you not only have to brown nose and be lucky at times, you also have to do things related to work that could or may have to be done "off the clock".

Reading the original story, it kind of reminds me of two third graders going at it. One thing going at it like school children on an internet forum, another doing it at work in front of a supervisor.
