I mean.... just so you feel better about it for me.... I did get up at 5:00 a.m. as usual. Then I was informed.... and went right back to fucking bed and slept until just after 7:00 a.m.

Now I've got me a fucking 3 day weekend to look forward to. Woo Hoo!!!!!!

So I have to attend the yearly Convention due to my position in power in the ORG.

I dread it. I get bored easy and not exactly very many that are my type.

To make it worse I had to go to the presidents dinner because I was needed to charm some out of town folks.

Double fucking sucks for me.

Can't drink with these people for fear of getting fucked up

Then we had to sit thru a fucking shitty comedian do his schtick

Last up after almost 3 hours of dinner and this and they do the awards.

Turns out they wanted me at the dinner because I was awarded the Distinguished Service Award.

Well that was a fucking shock for sure. Made even more fucking ironic that 20 years ago when I was put on the board of directors I was the black sheep. I should have kept count of how many fucking times I was the only no or yes vote.
