We worked for one back in late november and he claimed we wrecked something. Not only did he want us to replace the additional item but also the item that had to be fucking replaced to begin with
Started with a fucking demand for almost $6k
Then it escalated up to claiming $7k
I fucking had the choice of paying who knows how much in legal fees to defend a lawsuit with no assurances so idiot judge would rule with us.
So I hire a lawyer which is probably the 3rd time we have done that in 100 years of business. We plead our side and this asshole lawyer we worked for still wanted it all but would settle for $5k. No fucking way I say and my lawyer agreed. I said we would go to $3k and the other asshat says this morning no deal and we will meet in court.
I say fine. Now I fret all morning expected to have a lawsuit wanting over $10k which if I lost would mean I would fucking probably have at least $15k after legal fees are added.
Yeah for me eh???????????
Now I get a call back from my lawyer stating the asshat other fucktard will settle for $3,500
So fucking settle I will
This will all cost me out of my own fucking pocket at least $4k when I add the legal bill. Company is broke so it does not have the cash and won't for probably at least 3 months as bad as business is.
Fuck me I need to find some rich bitch in the southwest and fucking retire in the sun.
