This is not an argument between you and I, Fred. I agree that she is a dumb ass and deserved to be removed from the theater. However from a business perspective that was a poor way to handle the situation. That's all.

A lot of bar establishments make a point with their rules. If you can't abide you will be made an example of how not to fit in. I applaud their standing by their policies. Especially if per their blog she was warned twice and persisted. It has made the newsfeeds on the internet so it may result in lawyers getting involved which is a shame.

I will admit, I'm kinda with Darrell on this, because despite how stupid she sounds and how rude it is to text in the theatre (this feels like a win for the common man, abiding by rules lol), we don't know exactly what happened and for them to put her all over the internet isn't good business practice.

It would be a shame if she did sue, what a waste, yanno?

I would hope if her texting and talking was a real necessity she would have been smart enough to leave the theater. Obviously she felt intitled to do as she pleased. Maybe this example will give other pause to think. Wishful thinking on my part.

You don't set an example by putting someone who spent money in your establishment on blast infront of the entire WWW. Sure, that girl is a dumbass. No argument here. However, they should probably prepare for litigation, when she sues them for defamation of character, and using the recording without her consent. :dunno

she was asked several times to stop using her phone before they asked her to leave.
