:funnah I still need to buy a new cell-phone. I got a tad bit hammer-happy on my last one. It was dropped into a pool, so yeah. I was thinking of getting a prepaid camera phone(I can't get a real phone till I'm old enough to pay it), but I just decided on a normal one.

Sigh, I still don't have a camera phone. My brother just recently got one and bought me an actually OLDER version Verizon phone. I just thought it looked better... it doesn't even have an LCD caller ID display on the lid :tard

Cell phones aren't really of any use unless you run your business on the road at all times. Yes, they're handy in the event of an accident...but every previously activated cell phone retains the ability to make a call to 911 in the event of an emergency, so you don't need to purchase a new one just because your old one's service expired.

A lot of people don't realize this, and are duped into purchasing more than what they need.

Well, my mom did it when she was still in school, mainly for the reason to save money. Everybody in the house that actually needed a phone had a cell phone, so we didn't need a house phone. But now it's back up.
