How's your relationship with your parents?

I get along with my parents, though we're not close. My dad and I have very similar personalities (introverted curmudgeons ) and I feel like we have a bit of a bond on a deeper level, but we never really talk. My mom and I are complete opposite personalities. She's very sensitive and I get annoyed by her very easily. There's no animosity between us, but I think she wishes I didn't keep to myself as much as I do. Living 900kms away is a nice excuse for me.

Its good, we stay with parents in India so that helps in building a good relationship

My relationship with my mother is very good, but it's the opposite with my father. My father is often rude, likes to snap, likes to get angry, so I'm not comfortable getting close to him.

I was in good terms with my parents. Unfortunately they are both late for now.

I had a rather strained relationship with my parents till just few years ago. They found it hard to understand the path I was going since they expected me to be in academia. But they have come to appreciate me and accept what I do. And we have a super amazing relationship now.

Currently I maintain a healthy connection with both of my parents. I share mutual affection with them even though we rarely agree on everything.

My mom and I are very close. We disagree heavily when it comes to politics (which we do not discuss), so I have her hidden on Facebook.

My dad and I were estranged for years due to his alcoholism, but since he got sober (almost 20 years ago now), we have worked on our relationship. We're still not close, but we're a lot better than we used to be.

In terms of my parents, i have just my mom and so far our relationship is pretty okay.
