How traditional are you in dating?

your absolutely right about this...ive only been slapped once out of.....LOTS...but i think it was because i was tired of beating around her bush and got straight to the point a little too rudely..

Have to keep in mind, in my younger years I was a real dork and it took me time to realize that slurred speech in general didn't help you with strange, hot women

ME and my buddies use to have a game when we'd go bar hopping / meat markets called "beat the clock".

On the drive to the bar/meat market, everyone would give a time (5 min / 10 min / 15 min...) The one with the lowest time given before we hit the bar would have to "beat the clock".

Time / countdown (how much time the person with the lowest given time would have) would start when the first beer/drink was poured and sipped. All the guys with the higher times would choose girls for the guy with the lowest time to go up to and ask to dance. If the guy got the dance within the lowest time he gave, all the rest of the guys would have to buy beer/drinks for the guy for the entire night. If the guy (with the lowest time given) didn't get a dance within the time he gave (if he struck out with the first girl, he'd have to go the second, third, fourth...that the other guys picked) he had to buy the beer/drinks for everyone else for the rest of the night.

Keep in mind, the guys with the higher times generally picked out the hottest babes in the place in hopes that the guy with the lowest time would strike out. Generally speaking, I was always the one with the lowest time given LOL

On a side note, back then no one ever carried a cell phone, so I don't know what games are now played to pick up women in todays modern age

As far as dating goes I'm pretty traditional. Not that I *wouldn't* ask a guy out...but I usually prefer to let him make the first move.

When it comes to sex, I can be rather forward when I want to be.

When I did date it was simple. I made it simple. If I was attracted to someone I would ask them out. If they said no...on to the next one. Rise and repeat. Now I am done. It was fun though.
