How forgiving a person are you?

its something i struggle with ,but try hard to do because thats the right thing to do.
carrying resentment and anger around isnt healthy or helpful to anyone
easier said than done for everyone...i must try harder,i must try harder

How forgiving a person are you? Does it depend upon the person involved? Would you forgive a sibling for a hurtful comment or action but not a best friend/partner/lover/acquaintance? Do you forgive but not forget?

What's the most unforgivable thing a person can do to you?

Being a person who's done unforgivable things in my past, I could list some, but some of you would never look at me the same way. So I will defer comment.

I look at the situation, decide upon its impact in my life and forgive based upon that. The real obstacle to overcome is the realization that perfection doesn't exist. But we all want to be treated perfectly. Yes, it can be so disappointing when some perceived "wrong" is done. What makes it hard for me is when I ask or request for a certain thing, whatever it may be, and then my words aren't taken seriously. I have a harder time forgiving when my wishes or thoughts have been ignored. Some things, sadly, are unforgivable. The ironic thing is that even though I couldn't forgive the person that did something unforgiveable, I could continue to love him, albeit from a distance. That messes with my mind.
