The real content men and women won't worry about whether they can get laid or not and bars are simply not a place for them to look for an one-night-stand. They go there to dance, get drunk, socialize with friends and have fun. Therefore, to say that who gets laid blah blah only works for the males and females who are desperate. So if you are trading your body for some cheap fun, wake up the next morning feeling like shit then go for it. Well, I guess not everybody feels like that but for long term, those people will not be respected.

People should know dating and getting laid is completely different things and I personally think that if one can't control one's sexual urge and has to express it by looking in a bar, then it's a bit pathetic. that's just my opinion. you can say yours but just don't turn it into a personal attack.

I'm missed a lot of this debate but going back to the original post, I think that the main reason a guy can't get laid as easily is because it's not too difficult to find a woman who is up for some (usually pissed!) but usually she is out with responsible friends who will stop her because they know the dangers of a woman going home with a strange man and rightly so. No one worries if their male friend gets pissed and goes home with a strange woman to bed her.
Maybe going slightly off the topic here too but I do find, and most of my friends do to, that women hit on you more when you're not single, don't know what it is, I'm guessing either they don't see you as a threat, they find it attractive that you've already proved you're attractive to women or something else.:dunno

Looks like there's more to the story here, and since GP is the open-minded sort, and like I said in my OP, I'm willing to learn and listen.

REOPEN THE DEBATE WITH SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE

One VERY important line of the article to consider before SRC et al say "I told you so" is this, and I think it scientifically proves my OP point:
“Men were more likely to be opportunistic towards having sex, so if sex were there and available they would jump on it, somewhat more so than women. Women were more likely to have sex because they felt they needed to please their partner.”
