That's a little harsh considering that you yourself are a religionist. :) Some people are just more mystically inclined than others.

Some people love fantasy. My wife made me watch Lord of the Rings. I was bored but she loved it. My father-in-law is certain that Hobbits lived on earth at one time. An active imagination can be healthy. I tend to be too realistic for my own good. If there's no evidence then I don't believe it.

The trick is to know what is fantasy based and what is not.
I too like to let my imagination roam but I know when I am using it and do not end up believing my imaginings.

Yes, but do you believe in a cosmic consciousness because you have proof or because you like the idea of it?

Your philosophical slant is a little toward idealism. Mine is toward realism. You can't prove your idealism and I can't prove my realism. But you and I are proof that idealists and realists can get along. :)

wow another thread bashing religion

they should all be merged to contain the troll that keeps starting them

He's not bashing religion so much as literalist religion. You know, people who believe the earth is 6000 years old. While I don't believe that, I am understanding of those who do because I was one of them until about 5 years ago.

The Official "Validate my self worth by telling me I'm smarter than God" thread ?

lol I am the only god I have.

Thanks for coming out of your retarded literalist box long enough to insult and not speak to the O P.

Examples like you make my job easier.

How many more times have you got to insult people, you do know that is not proving your point, why should I speak to you, all you do is hate people, insult people, and you want people to listen to you? :24:

Stop smoking dope will you, get back into reality

Imagination roam? Wow, I think a trip to the psychiatrist will help you a lot, we have a lot of false prophets to deal with you know. You love to think that you know all and think that you can't be questioned, in actual fact you are acting like people in those videos, what a strange person you are

I believe in the cosmic consciousness as I do because of apotheosis.
There is no way to prove it as is the case with all such revelation and I do not bother trying to convince others because of that fact. I do not hide it either which does not help my cause.
You might also have noted that I do not have a dogma to sell because of my anecdotal experience.

Darling, there's not a damn thing that somebody like you can teach me...lol. My quick reply was merely a reflex reaction to yet another religious bashing thread.....have you ever heard the saying 'me thinks the man protests too much' ????

Don't even wonder why.

I will not bother with my links to Jesus camps or where your ilk kills African witches or 9 11.

BTW, which Jesus camp indoctrinated you?

You may be right, perhaps we should not care about child abuse. Not.

Hey, as if non-believers like you don't do child abuse, get that one into your head.....oh no you don't want to believe that your 'cosmic' conscience 'religion' doesn't do that

This 'cosmic' thing reminds me that you are some whacked up Scientologist. At least the Catholic church has come clean about the abuse, whilst most people are concerned about the way the church dealt with the matter, you think that everyone but your crazy stunt is clean

Honey, you're bordering on my best argument when it comes to individuals who abuse what they think they know......Jesus didn't start those camps any more than Brad Pitt started the KKK. What you need to do is grow up and broaden your horizons, there's a great big beautiful world out there just itching to be experienced....now voyager go forward, spread your wings, fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride.

lmbo? I think he is not here in reality "cosmic consciousness", pffft, I thought Jesus preached love and understanding, and slams Christianity as a religion of hate, yet he does precisely that :24:

Honestly,I think he's afraid of reality. Anybody who would create thread after thread about something he has no knowledge about whatsoever, has to be living in some sort of denial. I may go so far as to say that I'd be somewhat interested in finding out what this man actually DOES know about....sometimes I like to live on the edge...lol

Yeah I am thinking the same thing, quotes Star Trek when insulting people on here, then expects everyone to take him seriously:thumbup
