Hockey

The series pitted the Oilers' offensive juggernaut against the Bruins' more balanced team. The Oilers showed their defensive prowess, surrendering just 9 goals in the four completed games. Game 4 is well-known for fog that interfered with the game and a power outage that caused its cancellation before a faceoff. This would allow the Oilers to win the Cup at home in the Northlands Coliseum and complete the "sweep" in a rescheduled Game 4.
Ray Bourque was physical in defending against Gretzky, but that wouldn't ground the Great One on his way to claiming his second Conn Smythe Trophy and setting playoff records with 31 assists in just 18 games, and 13 points in the Finals series.

so, it would seem he had no real impact in the series

Oilers are very lucky to even pull off the 2 wins they got the past two games. They played horrible!

Anyway Flames are 1-1-1 which is the best start in the season they had in ages, lmao! I can't wait for the BOA to start this Friday.

Yeah hockey forums can be really boring especially when the Admin's and Mod's are right up your asses but meh.

Yeah, I guess everyone`s about the Sox, Pats, and Celtics right now. And unless you`re a serious fanatic, hockey forums aren`t much fun.

and unless you can spread the love to all four teams...and some people are just so high and mighty on the Sox/Patriots...i wear my Bruin sweater and I get laughs...but then again someone remembers what Mr. Bouqrue and Neely had done for this town and I get a "great sweater, dude!" makes me forget about those dolts who just don't want to talk hockey

The Canucks raised a banner recently.

Number 7, which is dedicated to the fans being the 7th man out there.

what are your thoughts on it?

Nice gesture, but kinda hokey.

Nice sigs. I have to admit, despite the rivalry forming, I still like the Flames. Gotta love the forwards who can mix it up. Iginla's a perfect leader. Bert's an idiot sometimes, but I love his style.

so, here I am in Spain and they have three stations and only one of them is their "all-sports" channel.....and this channel either shows: soccer....tennis....race or driving...motorcycle racing...more soccer...finally.....
HOCKEY...but no announcers...no one from the NHL!!!!
