Highly regarded movies that "don't do it for you."

What are some films that you really don't get the appeal of, but they are generally highly regarded in the film world?

I tried to like that one because the story was decent, and Haley Joel Osmond or whatever his name is, was great in it. I just can't do it though.

I will say, sometimes "old movies" are ridiculous to me. The fakey half english/half theatre douche accents, the cheesy lines...

Inception- there's just nothing exciting about the story line. It doesn't make sense to me

Godfather- too much violent, heartless people
