My mum got asked by my recorder teacher why I was no longer going to lessons. My mum knew nothing about it.

My violin teacher got annoyed at me cos in the concerts, I used to pretend to play, lol.

I never got asked to not come back though.

I pretended to sing when I was in the choir!! I never auditioned, I just brazenly walked in one wet playtime and then decided to stay.

I actually did two performances infront of thousands of people with that choir. I was only rumbled when I got asked to do a solo and the teacher discovered I could not sing :24::24:

yeah my class all pretended and not even subtly either lol. We really put our school to shame :24:

My band was pretty decent, considered one of the best in the county, which made it worse for me lol. I wanted to quit but band was one of the few extra-curricular things I did so my parents weren't about to just let that happen.

LOL!! Brilliant!

We played along with 2 or 3 different schools. I'm not even sure how I got into playing, I just remember being there one time and staying. My dog used to whine when I practised. Kinda gives an indication on how good I was lol

You'd do fine in my school's chorus. It wasn't that great lol. I distinctively remember them butchering " Wind Beneath my Wings".

I used to do this in school assembly every day haha :24: I hated singing, even in a crowd.

Been fired three times... none of which were my fault. First one I wasn't ever provided the training I needed, and I was the only person in my office. I begged for someone to come from the corporate office to help show me everything, but nobody ever did. The second one was right after that one, and I was technically laid off after I suffered an on the job car accident that wasn't my fault. The day I was supposed to come back to work, I got an e-mail from my boss telling me not to come back. The last one was my last job, and I've spelled it out here... but basically my boss never liked me, and set forth an impossible task for me to accomplish, even though I provided him with proof that it wasn't possible to do what he wanted me to... so I got fired because I couldn't make the impossible happen.

The second firing I got an apology about 8 years later. I still maintain the first firing was not deserved but someone's head had to roll and since the screw up was by the owner he could not fire himself.

first place I got fired from
reason I got fired is the manager stole money from the safe and blamed me for it.
the manager that fired me I called the cops and let them know she was dealing meth at work
it was a subway It was my night job while I was in the US Marines
second one
the company hired a ex con straight out of the pen and he was stealing my sales
I couldn't prove it so I bitched enough the manager got tired of hearing it and made it look like I wasnt meeting my quota
the year before they hired this guy I had made district high on sales on the east coast at office depot
my manager told me that I could either quit or he would fire me I quit and cursed him so bad he was studdering so hard he couldnt even talk
then I started mocking his studdering I went all the way with it. They fired the ex-con a week later for stealing.
f-ing retards.
never got an oppology from him but I did from every other manager there except one who helping the storemanager get rid of me
got an awesome job less than two weeks after that as an engineer

Once, many moons ago.

I was working as a mortgage redemption clerk and the boss asked me and a colleague to do shift a glass cabinet from his office to another place. Wasn't part of our job description but we were noobs so did it. During the move, I asked my colleague to turn it for a better grip, which we did - and the glass fell out and shattered.

The manager had it in for me ever since. Eventually, enough was enough and I called him a "sarcy bastard" and he told me to get my coat.

I did, too. :24: I would lipsync for our public performances. Our teacher caught on, though, and made us sing solos in class for our "final exam." That bitch!!!

I don't know if you would call it fired, really. I worked at Chick-fil-a and, because I was too busy w/ college, I was told that they were going to remove me from the schedule. It wasn't like a "you suck, we don't want you anymore" type thing...it was more of a "hey, we're going to get someone who can give us more hours." My boss just stuck his head out the drive-through window to tell me. :24: They never even told me to return my uniform. So I maintain that I was NOT fired.

Not exactly... When I got my teaching job, I planned to continue working at Build-a-Bear for a while but the head manager asked me to quit. I was an assistant manager before, and she thought my presence would make the life of the future assistant manager more difficult. She thought the girls would continue to look to me for direction than the new lady. I said some not so nice things before agreeing to only work when she was the manager on duty. She was a bitch so that arrangement didn't last for long before I quit.

So I wasn't fired, but I was forced to quit.

I have never been fired. Keep in mind I have only had three jobs, two of them being summer jobs. The third one is a job that I currently have, but it isn't exactly a job with normal hours. I work stand manager at a concessions stand at a local stadium, but they only use it once to twice a month.
