Is anyone going to see the midnight showing?

Is anyone even planning on seeing it?

I'm excited- it looks intense! But I won't get to see it for a while.

I'm not going though! LOL

I enjoy the story line. It's fun for kids, but there's still enough excitement to keep it fun for me- I'm stuck in somewhere between kid and adult. I count as neither.

Man! There was a huge line at the movie theatre tonight! I'm assuming it was all the people wanting to see Harry Potter, I was disappointed because they weren't dressed up like the movie characters or anything.

I saw Bruno instead, I wanted to watch something slightly less gay than Harry Potter. :p

There were a few kids dressed up last night. Not like in the past though.

Aww cute!

At least it's not as bad as a star wars movie perimere, I never knew adults liked to play dress-up.

I'll probably be dragged along to see the new Harry Potter film sometime soon. So I hope it's good!

Yes, some adults never get over that "dress-up" stuff. Look at Trekkie conventions for proof. :D

It is good, but be aware, it doesn't strictly follow the book.

Ah. So it's just like every other Harry Potter film then?

I remember seeing the first film when I was 10, I was SO upset that there were some differences between the book and movie.

And eww trekkies! One of my friends parents are total sci-fi nerds, which is super weird... becasuse they're total bogans! (A bogan being equivalent to a redneck/hillbillie in the US, but slightly more educated, tolerant and ALOT less religious :p).

LOL I guess you could say that, but the kids I saw it with thought the movie followed it less so than any other of the films.

I know that first was disappointing to loads of kids who expected a celluloid rendition of the book. I actullay found the first to be the least of my favorites since it had the responsibility of setting the scene and shaping the tale, rather than action.

:24: I never heard the term bogan. Thanks for explaining. :24:

Hillbilly sci-fi nerds. What a concept. :24:

The fact JKRolling has input into the making of the film make them better than LOTR.
I thought the LOTR series was an epic fail on following the books.
