Gun Violence Commercial

I can't believe that most of you don't get this commercial...
FreeWorkVest got it right. If you know something and don't say anything, it's as though you are pulling the trigger yourself if something happens.

Is it harsh? Yeah, but so is gun violence. I think the commercial drives the point home very well.

It's funny, we can watch the news and hear about all the people that were killed by gun violence and turn a deaf ear, yet when something like this commercial comes along, you are all appalled by it.

You don't trust private individuals with weapons, but you trust governments? Seriously, compare the track record of private murders commited to murders commited by even the most supposedly 'free' governments in the world. The death rate is fantastically eschewed towards government murder, as any competent historian will tell you. The stupidity of this video is really just a more overt example of the sort of panic-based idiocy they use to get people to surrender themselves upon the altar.

banning guns would be the stupidest thing anybody in north america could do.
DC has a gun ban. look at their crime and murder rate. thru the fucking roof.
toronto is trying to ban guns in the city: say hello to more murders and gun related crimes.

Michigan recently made it easier for residents to acquire a concealed carry weapons permit (ccw), their crime rate dropped sharply.

heres the problem: criminals will ALWAYS be able to get ahold of guns. soooooo now here is the gun ban: now that guns are banned, then only people that will be acquiring them are the criminals. does this sound like a good idea to you? i didnt think so. now the criminals have the upper hand in WHATEVER crime they wish to commit because they have a gun, yet law abiding citizens are unable to buy them. kinda fucked up, right? right.

i dont believe that the 2nd ammendment should be taken to court for "interpretation". this is just plain stupid. i have the right to bear arms. i will take full advantage of this right while i still can. nobody will ever get my guns. well, maybe when im dead and out of ammunition and the slide is locked back.

"gun bans" give criminals the upper hand.

I hate the top picture so so so much. I'm a gun owner, and I oppose the banning of guns. Yet this picture is just pure knee-jerk extreme shit. You can't possibly compare Hitler to say, any American politician that wants to pass fire arms legislation.

I'll agree, they are quite different, but the fact remains that gun control is a fascist institution that has historically been supported by such dictators as Hitler and Kabuga. Although for different reasons, it's still gun control.

We have strict gun control in Britain and it has fuck all to do with fascism. It's been a reaction after terrible tragedies like Dunblane. Agree or disagree with that all you like but to call it a fascist policy, I find frankly absurd. You dont need to resort to extreme and sensational labels to disagree with something.
