Technically the bible is the only history book that covers one of the longest time periods.

Actually, theres archeological evidence and 3rd party documents written by non jewish and non christian historians that support many of the events of the bible from the different kings and the wars with the different civilizations.

Science and the Jews know it is all myth.

Do you believe that animals can talk human and that wooden staffs can turn into snakes?
To believe in a literal and historic bible, you have to believe in fantasy, miracles and magic.


I respect the bible as a book of wisdom, if read the right way but to think it literal is silly.

Science isn't concerned with religion and I don't think the Jews really care if it is myth or not. Atheists cling to hopes they think science can give them but lately science has been abandoning Atheist beliefs.

Then the trick would be distinguish historical events from inspired/imagined events. The History channel ran a show which implied that besides the Bible, there is no historical evidence for Jesus, such as city records and such. Of course, when it comes to all records, just what can be believed?
