Love the optimism :ninja

"War is to man what maternity is to a woman. From a philosophical and doctrinal viewpoint, I do not believe in perpetual peace."

Mussolini said that and I think he's 100% right about that, as long as there is Man there will always be war.

Maybe it is, I didn't make that quote, I simply agree that as long as there are people there will always be conflict, Maybe I should not have used the word "man" in my last post, because Women are certainly capable of being just as belligerent as man, don't forget that quote was made in the 40s.

When asked how World War III would be fought, Einstein replied that he didn't know. But he knew how World War IV would be fought: With sticks and stones.

Thanks....
I have stated my opinion and it's for you to accept it or not.

The War on Terror has become counter-productive and with the growing hatred for Muslim in the US and EU
the situation is heading towards a very dismal state. Terrorists may be Muslims but All Muslims are NOT terrorists. The problem with them is more related to Palestine and Israel and American policies, not the Americans themselves.

If Muslims were terrorists why aren't they active in other places, such as the Far East, China and other socialist states????Sure, there is some reason for their grudge against the Americans and the Europeans .....because these parts of the world are 'fiddling' more with them.
I do not defend the terrorists..they ought to be lynched publicly but killing 10 innocent people (men, women and children) for the sake of one terrorist in Afghanistan doesn't seem fair. Targets ought to be specifically aimed and routed.

because in america and europe,if caught they get sent to prison,in china and the far east if caught they suffer terribly

sorry, I cannot agree with the reason you give.
Muslims coming out of Gitmo do the same things again ...
Recently Faisal Shehzad, who is sentence to life imprisonment, showed no repentance on his act...on the contrary he said what he did was right!
Muslims in China, Thailand, Phillipines etc have revolted many times and got killed but even death doesn't seem to stop them!
USSR got splitted into numerous Muslim states....

Read history and you will come to know death has never been a foolproof deterrent to extremism!!

Maz is correct on this, no matter how many of them we kill or imprison there will always be more of them to take their place, and they will start to get craftier and sneakier in their ways.

Murderers in the USA get the needle and death. Why is there a bigger proportion of them than in the UK where they get 10 years to life imprisonment?

The Britishers have a great justice system...they've upkept their 'heritage' even after losing their colonial imperialism.
My late father always spoke high of British justice...and It also appeared so from a few testimonials of my grandfather which I happened to read ( he was employed as a sign board writer in NWF railways under the British.

I also had spent many years with British teachers upto high school..In my opinio the British have a good understanding of people, their nature and are fundamentally just!:) I love \em!!
