Reiko said use the implant as often as you can stand it and stay away from crowded busy places at first. She also told me there will come a point where I would get over the fear and will want to hear any and everything.
And she said don't feel dumb if I forget what thing makes what sound, it happens to her all of the time.

Oh I am so pleased to know that your friend will be there Gina, when it's activated. :)

You can look forward from now on, it's all getting better for you and you are a very strong young person - it's a positive thing, even though you will need to go through some strange adjustments first. You are going to do so well. :)
