Well I don't know Tom well enough to say his intentions...but if I challenged people and someone actually rose to the challenge, I'd consider that a very successful thread. *shrugs*

Well, I didn't even know his name until you just posted it. But having participated in a recent discussion with him where he thinks it's justifiable to hose down seated college students with pepper spray, I have an idea as to his intent. I disagree and see it as abuse of power and felonious assault against American citizens.

So anyway, given that discussion, I have reason to believe he thought I was all talk and no action - hence the backfire that all others who have engaged in the Occupy discussion see clearly.

Thanks for the info...but it's definitely not my cup of tea. To be honest, I'm so sick of seeing/hearing about this whole occupy movement that I've refused to watch any coverage and have absolutely NO IDEA what it's about. I hate politics...I'd rather be poked in the eardrum w/ a hot poker repeatedly.

I give you credit for avoiding the Occupy discussion since you readily admit you have no interest or knowledge of the movement.

The fact is that the majority of the anti-Occupy posters have no clue what the movement is about either, yet they offer up ignorant opinions anyway.
