ok....i've read some of this.......believe it or not its pretty similar in britain

a friend of mine had an oriental buy the house next door by orientals i mean they live in asia.......now whenever a friend or family members having a baby they come over and live in the house for a couple of months.......child birth is free over here so buying the house and renting it out was extremely cost effective

we get loads of immigrants coming in......wheras many are legal from EU countries a very high percentage aren't...its these that bother me.......when they get here they get a full heath check.....full dental treatment.....money in they're pocket to get started......kitted out with clothes(that why so many wear leather jackets and designer jeans) somewhere to live and state handouts.......if your british......you have to go in a queue for medical treatment......finding a dentist is a night mare.....state benifits are pathetic(until last summer i had gone 28 years without unemployment....i went to sign on and got told it'd be 3 months before i got anything....so i asked hm that if i claimed not to speak english would it help)

the government is even giving large companies tax concessions for every illegal they employ......to me this is PC gone mad....what about the british kids?...many want to work but cant.......do the immigrants appreciate it......definately not, rape, sexual assault and violent crime is rising as fast as they getting here

ok.......rant over........i could go on all day

I fully sympathise with your situation and its no wonder British people are more and more starting to find racist parties like the BNP more appealing.
Not suggesting you're a racist for one minute, mate, but the main parties really need a huge slap in the face to see where their pathetic attitude to their own people is dragging this country!:mad

See, you've got that problem, too. And yes, you've got it right, "to me this is PC gone mad." Political correctness these days only helps a niche group and harms and/or discriminates against the majority and the non-lawbreakers.

Common sense and laws are thrown out the window and I will never understand why....

Last night I was at WalMart in the check out and there was a family of 5 (they were Hispanics) in front of me checking out with a basketfull of groceries. The mom, dad, and 3 kids were dressed exceptionally nice. The mom even had on a fur coat and was talking on the cell phone (none of which I could understand, it was in spanish). Anyways, the cashier told them their total price and I seen her pull out a food stamp card and she swiped it thru the card reader. (I guess food stamp reciepents are allowed so much a month to spend on groceries?) Because after she used the card, the cashier told her her remaining balance. When at that point, she pulled out an envelope and pulled out a wad of 100 dollar bills.
This is what I dont understand. The family could afford to dress exceptionally well, have a wad of 100 dollar bills but still gets approved for food stamps. Am I missing something here?

the first time ever recieved benefits it was incapacity benefit.i had a very well paid job similar to boxers but in mental health.after being beaten very badly by a client i took time off,my physical injuries healed and i went back to work.on my first day back i was attacked again and injured again.i got diagnosed with ptsd and was unable to work or even function for a year.
when i went shopping with my benefit i had a nice car, nice clothes ,because id had a great salary.so did people also look at me and make a value judgment?
i will never do that job again by the way
and all is not what it seems ,never judge a book by its cover;)

Im not judging a book by its cover. Just bringing up something that seems to be an ongoing problem and I dont see how "they" (Im not trying to sound racist here by no means so please dont think that) can work under the table, lie about stuff, and take government funds that ALOT of americans could really use, and then not feel guilty about it.
Just another example, where I work at when you get ready to be discharged, you have to pay your co-pay or make a payment. Alot of the hispanics dont have any insurance (because they are illegal by most means) and when you ask them to make a payment, a big majority of them will have you over a wad of bills to pay. They've got cash, I think what they do is send it back to Mexico. Correct me if Im wrong, but thats just my assumption

There are always exceptions to every situation (like yourself) .. but I don't believe that is the case with all parties concerned .. when you see 9 out of 10 welfare recipients driving a lexus or something similar .. wearing $100 blue jeans, and with their "hair & nails did" .. it really makes you stop and take note.

i can absolutely see where youre coming from,i think skyblue stated that we have similar difficulties here.i wasnt for a minute suggesting that there was anything racism in the original comment.but im sure that not all persons of hispanic extraction are scroungers.

we have a huge influx of eastern european people here working now,i saw those workers at a car auction where i couldnt afford a cheap car pay with cheques from the benefits office to buy a car for work,i dont have that privilege as im just born here...so i shared that anger too.

i think much of skyblues post will explain our situation here.

Hmm, guess it must be a far worse problem than it is here, I've rarely if ever seen people on benefits here driving a posh car!:eek
