I'd say the same to someone else, but being in it, I don't know, there's a lot to consider. Mexico is going to be the test...I really not looking forward to going with him and him alone, but I'm trying to make the best of it.

Nah he's blunt...but it's ok. Like Natasha said - I'm not bailing on my marriage and I'm hoping the trip will put things in perspective and no, I'm not entirely looking forward to going with him but I'm hoping we each see something that makes us remember why we fell in love.
I thought so at first, too, but lately it's seemed kind of like he's targeted Dana's post to pick apart. Which, granted, he's not the only one here to ever do that or even the only one doing it right now...there was just a huge shift in personality after all the forum drama went down and I get the feeling that he doesn't want to be here anymore but, instead of leaving, he's just staying here and attempting to cause drama.
Having said that...I'm not a staff member anymore, so it doesn't matter to me. Just calling it as I see it, LOL
LMFAO I lost a bet w/ Maulds and that's what he made me change my sig to. I might do that. I don't remember if I updated my thread about losing the ball to my nipple ring, but I lost it again the other week and, a few days later, found it on the floor in my bedroom. No....in this case misery doesn't love company, I wish you didn't have to work it either. BUT the OT will be lovely, that's all I'm focusing on.

Honestly...there's so much, we're both in our 40's and in our first marriage...we're both extremely stubborn...I've been in a few long term relationships and he's been in none, he's still in the delusional state that a relationship is something you see in movies. It also doesn't help that I work away....I'm not saying I play no part in what's wrong here, I know I have my faults, there's days when I think we'll figure it out and there's days I want to pack and bag and never set eyes on him again.
But.....I laughed last night...we were at his sister's place for his nieces 13th birthday, everyone got up to get cake and he sat back in the next room and said he wanted a piece, I told him to get off his arse and get it, not to wait to be served, another sister of his came over and shook my hand, said a comment like that was a long time coming. It felt good to know others see that side of him because I question myself so much, that maybe I'm the one that's in the wrong. It was one of the first times I've spoke out in front of his family and the "pat on the back" was nice.

Drama is NOT the solution. I personally think the site has run it's course, but that's just my opinion...and I'm not speaking out of line, b/c I've told V the exact same thing.
I get paid the same whether I work it or not. If I don't work, I get paid for my regular 11.5 hours...if I *do* work it, I get paid double. So either way, I'm only getting an extra 11.5 hours.
I've noticed changes in the forum but I don't know if I'd say it's run it's course, but I haven't been here as long as you. I personally like coming here and like the people I've *met*, such as yourself
So you're getting paid 2 days for working one, I'm the same...I don't know, but I like it, if I have to be away, I certainly want to be compensated. I'm told the company is "very" good to those that work Christmas. Last year there were only 100 or so on site and this year there will be over 700 so I don't know if they'll be *as* good but fingers crossed.

Usually when we have a mass exodus to another forum, it only lasts for a couple of months and then people slowly come back. For reasons I'll keep to myself, I don't see that happening this time. I do enjoy most of the members we have left, but the posting has slowed to a crawl and even the staff isn't posting as much (except for Fred).
I like the extra pay, but working and getting paid for 2 days vs. NOT WORKING and getting paid for 1 day, I'd rather not work, LOL I don't even care about Christmas Day as much as I care about Christmas Eve. I just like being home w/ my family on Christmas Eve b/c that's when we normally do our dinner and present exchange and then we wrap up the night w/ coffee and dessert and chit-chat. It's just a nice relaxing evening. We're going to do it this Sunday instead...but it's just not the same. I'm depressing myself, LOL Lemme hush.
