Personally, if people don't like what I'm wearing, they can blow me. :p

I think these 2 thoughts are counter-productive...IJS But, then again, at least you'd be out of those clothes. :dunno

You know I'm kidding. And I've seen you in a suit...you clean up nice, but I think you look better in your normal everyday wear. ;)

And yes, I care how I look. I brush my hair, I wash my face, clean my teeth, my clothes are always clean, I put deodorant on... I'm just all about the comfort.

Same here. I dress up when I feel like it, but on normal everyday outings I'm in jeans and a t-shirt or something equally comfortable. ;)

I've always been a tomboy, I feel very dressed up if I wear a dress, even a casual one, or a skirt that isnt denim. It's not something I am comfy in. If I worked in an office then yes, I would be dressed smarter but I wear scrubs at work which are like pyjamas and refuse to wear nice clothes to and from work cos they sit in a locker for 13 hours of the day.

I'll simply say that I wholeheartedly disagree with the claim that women shouldn't put their hair in pigtails. I <3 pigtails.

Personally it matters more to me what I think than what others think. I take pride in how I look, and I want to feel good when I leave the house. I don't always dress to the 9's (everyone needs their jeans and t-shirt days), but it's important to me to not look like a slob who just got out of bed, ever, when I leave my home. It really has nothing to do about what others think.
that is why I said if I wore pj pants all the time it would see it being an issue of lack of personal respect for myself

Exactly... I personally never want to feel like I look like a slob when I leave my apartment. I take pride in how I dress. It may not be perfect or what somebody else would wear but it's what I like and think I look good in. I cannot understand those who just go out like they just rolled out of bed. First impressions are EVERYTHING. Because whether you like it or not society is judgmental. You can use the well they might not have the money excuse but organizations like Goodwill/Salvation Army sell decent clothing. I know I've donated to both :p
thats my point though Dana it shouldnt matter to you what impression you are giving off so much, unless you are doing something that requires it.
Also, what are you trying to say here? What you consider decent may not be the same as what another views it as. No offense, but Id bet you $1.00 that there are some people that wouldnt be caught dead in some of the things Ive seen you wear or donated.

I still wear braids sometimes, but I work with kids, so it's easier to find myself dressing young when with them - I typically do anyway, my usual outfit is jeans and a T-shirt.
