How do yall feel about this?

I like breast feeding because boobs.

The uniform is the centrepiece of military propaganda. Take liberties with it at your peril, it's one of the most powerful marketing tools that the recruitment office has.

That sums it up.

But I still like breast feeding moms anywhere because boobs. There's nothing more nurturing and loving than breast feeding.

The military has a different opinion. I left that world 26 years ago - it's their world - and they run it their way. Women have the option to request discharge for pregnancy - it used to be automatic - but they can still pretty easily get an honorable discharge if military life conflicts with their motherhood. Why not just get out, take the GI Bill college bennies and run. They can breast feed between college classes. ;)

Why is a military uniform held with such high regard. It is a fucking shirt and pants. It does not matter what you wear at your job it matters what you do at your job. A military uniform to me is the same as a pink t-shirt. It makes zero difference.

Because if you don't attach respectability to the uniform, you've just got a bunch of underpaid hooligans wearing the same clothes. It's all about the message.

Think for a second of the last time you saw a military funeral.Take the flag off the casket, and the smart uniforms and drill rifles away from the bearers, and you'll see the true worth of a soldiers life. Contrary to popular belief, very few servicemen die heroes. Most die because the other guy was better equipped for the task at hand, or better at his job.

So then be against them using the uniform for a political agenda. It's stated in the article that the NG is not against breastfeeding, or breastfeeding in uniform. They're issue was with the intent of the photo. I see in no way these women disrespecting the uniform, OR our country. Hell, I'd love to see MORE beautiful photos like this. It helps me remember that our military men and women aren't robots-they're human beings with lives and families and children just like everyone else.

By the way, your mention of which of the two women breastfeeding is hottest just goes to show YOUR true intent in this thread. You're stirring the pot, as per the usual, and THAT is a disgrace to the uniform. Just imagining that there are more "men" like you in my country's military makes me disgusted and ashamed to be an American.
