It's mainly the shirts. If you have the muffin top .. don't wear a tight shirt and it hides it. I have a flat tummy, but I have big hips .. so I get it if I wear jeans that are too tight in the waist (mainly hip hugger jeans).

If my jeans are too tight and give me the muffin top I wear a larger or longer shirt, so that it doesn't fit so tightly on my hips .. and no one can see the muffin top :D.

du-rags

sagging your pants on purpose

men who tuck their shirts in when they don't need to dress up

emo guys who wear girls pants

sandals + socks = not hot

combat boots + shorts = not good looking

girls who wear too much makeup

people who dress like they're always ready to play basketball or just finished doing so

tight shirts on girls or guys who clearly shouldn't be wearing them

the worst one however is when people with nasty feet wear sandals or open shoes. Jesus Christ, no one wants to see your aids infected foot

ok im starting to get offended by this thread! Hipster jeans actually flatter women with big hips and a smaller waist, no matter what size they are! :D

plus size women do not have small waists Hun .. I think this is more the idea of what she is talking about ..

Basically saying ..
If you aren't a size 6 .. you shouldn't try to dress like the girls who are a size 6.

I disagree! I understand that I may not be what she is talking about...but Plus size women can have small waists and big hips. Maybe not SMALL in comparison to a size 6 girl, but a large waist/hip ratio is what I mean.

Most people's conception of what a "plus size" woman is .. are the ladies who wear a size 24 +.. not people who wear a 16 or 18 or even a 20. :)

And there are MANY of these larger ladies (sz24+) that try to squeeze into a size 18 and parade it around with a tight shirt on (like the pic above). I know they make clothes in those people's sizes, but sometimes .. they really need to stop and ask themselves .. if they really should wear them.

There are plenty of clothes out there that are still modern, hip, and cool .. that will be much more flattering than squeezing yourself into something that makes you look similar to an overstuffed bratworst.

I'm 5'7" and a size 13 and I can't (or should I say, won't) wear an outfit like some of these ladies I see wearing will (like the one pictures above).

Plus sizes actually start at size 14W. Lane Bryant, for example is a plus size store. Junior sizes are odd numbered, and womens or misses sizes are even numbered. Many women's brands don't carry beyond a size 14, and that's when you have to go into the plus sizes. I shopped at Torrid and Lane Bryant for a long time buying plus size clothes because I couldn't find anything else to fit me. Now I can fit into regular womens sizes but I can't wear juniors most of the time. There were SOME womens clothes I could wear when I was bigger, but most of them were VERY old ladyish and I prefered the styles of torrid and LB better.

sorry girl. <3? :D

woman with wider hips and smaller waists should wear mid-rise jeans, as should people with hour glass figures and people with no waist, be it whether it is from being overweight or lack of curves. very few people can wear hipsters without them falling in the fashion faux pas catergory.

Don't be fooled into thinking anything under a 20 is "plus". Society has women convinced that they are huge, when technically they really aren't.

I wear a Juniors size 13 .. according to Junior sizes I am pushing the envelope. Well, I'm not plus size. I took a pair of jeans I had when I was in HS and measured them and compaired them to sizes today. I wore a size 5 when I was 18. That same juniors size 5 is now a juniors size 8.

The fashion industry trys to fool girls into thinking they are fat when they really aren't. That's why I said most peoples conception of what a plus size is lady is starts at a 24 +. Because when you get up into the 20+ sizes you are actually into a "true" plus size.
