At my location, i was shocked :eek last night when i logged on facebook as the new profile look was already implemented. I didn't like it so i tried editing my profile settings etc to NO avail
So Zirc is right, it's just a matter of time before the changes are strictly implemented on your location :ninja
Mine hasn't changed yet, I'm hoping that because Australia is such a lone isolated country that we'd be too hard to change cause we are so far away

The new profile got forced on me a couple of days ago. Bleh, wankas.
Yeah, I don't like the new profile. It's much harder to find what you're looking for on someone's profile.

Yeah that's what I think too. Everyone's info is in tiny writing at the top above thumbnails of photos, and the links for their wall/info and stuff is at the side. The old layout was so much easier, you could just click on the info tab, and the whole shebang would be there in a nice neat list. But I guess my profile is probably neater than others, I always make sure my statuses have correct spelling, and I only 'like' 66 pages, as opposed to others' 2000+ pages. I haven't added any interests and stuff either because then it will try to associate it with a page or group and it will either be wrong or spelled with errors/wrong grammar. And what I hate more is that I can't add my current location or hometown because it's not in the drop down list when I try to add it. Like wow, my town isn't THAT unknown lol.
You can't add your hometown??? That sucks!!! I could not figure out how to unsubscribe to receiving texts w/ someone's status. The "Unsubscribe from RMS" link was nowhere to be found. I finally had to google it to figure it out!!! I cannot STAND when people use their Facebook status to try to confront people but do it in a "oooh, I could be talking about you or I might not be...who knows" kind of way. UGH...it's like middle school!!!

I'm sick of seeing one of my friends update her status all the time openly bitching about her boyfriend (who can see them too) and calling him names and stuff. She thought she had the settings on private so only the boyfriend could see them but apparently not. She keeps whining that they never spend time together because he's always with his friends but fair enough, she dumped him once and they got back together. They should really solve the problem, break up again or just shut the hell up entirely because by getting back together with him, she put herself in that situation again. It's her own damn fault, so she should quite whinging.
Other ones I hate are ones where people talk about their daily routine, how mundane lol.

Given that one's status from the old profile was on top of everything and easily visible even if there are new wall posts :cool Nowadays it mixes with all the other posts and gets lost. I am not liking it either :thumbdown
How i wish FB has some program to keep the old profile layout and opt out of this new, non-user friendly one :ninja

It's funny because every time Facebook changes something everyone whines. You guys are worse than Mennonites when it comes to change...and I can say that because I am one. This will die down after a few weeks and then when Facebook changes things again you'll all want this layout back.

Try other browsers to see if that solves the problem
My Java is just fine!
Have used 2 browsers and that's all FB is getting out of me!
