Is there a way to make it so certain people don't show up in notifications when they post an update?

Like on your feed??? If they have timeline you have to go to the "subscribed" button on their page and unsubscribe.

They have re-designed how the photos and comments on that photo. Photos to the left, comments to the right, though the comments will scroll down....I say a thumbs up to that

Subscriptions... Just another way for people to stalk you without actually being your friend....

I've found myself using Facebook a hell of a lot less in 2012. Wasn't planned or anything, I just spent most the year either ill or travelling with work and now I no longer find myself checking it every 30mins :p

How often does everyone else check Facebook?

Interesting how you find out you have been unfriended. Only by looking at your friends list.

Every time there's an IA at the police department that involves Facebook I get defriended, LOL One day they'll figure out it's not dispatch ratting you out, it's your fellow officers, IJS

My friends has this feature called 'Enemies'. It shows people who have seen his friend request but haven't responded or denied him. Is that a standard feature or an app? Because I don't have it.

Never heard of that little feature. Of course it seems rather narcissistic to me to even want to use it. Anyone who I might have sent a friend request to that has not responded I have never really wondered why. It was their choice, I don't need to know why.

I actually used to be obsessed with Facebook a year ago, but now I've come to realise that it is a complete waste of time. I spend my time online earning money from legitimate sites or blogging on Tumblr or Wordpress. Facebook just collects too much information about you, I find.

That riddle thing that recently hit facebook like crazy where people had to change their profile photo to a giraffe if they got it wrong was pretty interesting.

I personally thought it was kind of silly being the riddle that started it all was fairly easy to figure out and yet still so many giraffes started invading fb.

But really though, it was all over the news and who knows who even started it :)

Besides collecting information about you, Facebook makes money using your information and yourself. We are the "free merchandise" that go voluntarily over there to make rich the Suckerjerk at the cost of wasting our time doing, posting and reading irrelevant things most of the times.

Time that we could easily use to make money on our own as you are doing :)
