I'm guilty of doing that...bwahahaha!!! I love my football and, honestly, it's no different than having to scroll through 20 music videos someone wants to share w/ you. I prefer it over the constant "I love my honey bunny SO MUCH" status updates, LMFAO
I hate those too :p

Okay, how do you hide someone's statuses now if they have the timeline thing??? Used to you could just click the X button and it brought up an option to hide it.

I don't have the timeline, and I don't really "get it". When I click on someone's profile and the person has it, I go "teh fuck??" and get confused lol

I don't like timeline at all. I'm glad I never went with it. :)

Of course... I assume eventually they'll force us to.

yes they will! news reports have been out past couple of weeks about it being mandatory. forgot when they said cause ive had it since September so i didnt care when :p

Finally figured it out!!! There's a frigging "subscribed" button at the top of the profile pages w/ Timeline and you can click on it and unsubscribe. Good to know.

My new complaint with facebook is these disgusting pictures of dead animals and dead people that keep getting passed around.

Incredibly offensive and inappropriate.

eh, thats really not a FB problem but more like friends being too gullible about stuff!

I have the social fixer app thingy, so majority of the 'problems' i have fixed/blocked. it gives you LOTS of options for your page/wall and mine's all set up to look like it did before ALL the changes thats been made (real time ticker, shadow picture box, enter button for new line instead of posting, etc.)

I know it's not a problem with facebook's website. But I shouldn't have to be subjected to that without having to either 1.) block the person who posted it from showing up on my news feed or 2.) reporting the post and potentially getting them into trouble. The people who've posted the pictures are either family or a close friend who I see several times a week. I don't need there to be this awkward thing because I said something, but I REALLY don't need to see that stuff. It's disgusting and rude.

I think there is a way to hide individual posts so you can't see them. Move to the right hand corner of the post and an downwards pointing arrow should appear and then click "Hide Story". It should hide that post whilst keeping everything else the person posts.

That's true. I just wish there was a NSFW/NSFL tag to things like that so they would be there, but you'd only see it if you clicked on it. Not that it would ever happen, but a girl can dream. :p

I saw a photo of a couple having sex (albeit I can't really prove they were actually having sex), I so reported that photo to fb

Is there a way to make it so certain people don't show up in notifications when they post an update?
