Nope, not once did I get personal. I respect you obviously, just not some of your opinions and statements that you have said in the thread. I haven't gone off topic at all, and told you to 'Calm down' or anything, only yourself. I'm in here for a debate. I have said everything I have to say now and aint going to hunt for more proof when you can quite easily research it more yourself, if you wish.

Yeah, I just said that because you said you were getting frustrated. I wasn't trying to shut you down. :p

Also, when the illegal dealers have no product to sell, they will have to find a new one. Which is cocaine, heroine, etc.

Hardcore drugs will become softcore(weed). And people tend to aim for whats illegal.

Like I said we would be creating a whole new breed of addicts from every angle.

Sorry, but your opinions just come across so crazy to me. I think you will find that weed dealers would not further on to heavier drugs to sell, as weed dealers usually only every deal in weed. If they wanted to sell heavier, they could do so right now, and make more money, they're choosing not to and only dealing weed.
There are already addicts of the drug, making it illegal, to legal, wouldn't change that. People have a choice to smoke it, and be addicted to it at the moment... =/

They are in business because no one else sells it. Legit markets would put them out of business.

Yes, there are already addicts of the drug. But I am saying there will be more. More addicts isn't what society is aiming for.

Look how much dealers have brought drugs into our culture through pop culture through freedom of speech. Drugs are the norm now. They could very possibly do it again, but with a new product. They would need to do it with a new product because they can't sell weed because everyone buys it from the store.

People gravitate towards what is illegal. So we would not only have a bunch of legal pot smokers but a whole new breed of addicts being influenced by dealers.

Dealers control music, fashion, and word of mouth. They even put out the urban legend that it cures cancer and that didn't escape anyone's ear.

We may in the long run be spending even more money than before to stop drug related crimes.
