dogs muck on the pavement - is it bad where you live ?

is there dog muck on the pavement where you live ?

don't get me wrong,
when you got to go there's no stopping,
but for Pete's sake,
i should not have to do pavement hopping.
its Volga,
there's no other name,
as for the dog owners,
obviously they have no shame.
messy and disgusting,
and a smell that's vile,
if you step in it,
the luck wont make you smile.
then i enter the park,
and i must be a strange bloke,
there's no dog mess in there place of exercise,
i am not having a joke.
so if you read the Joe's poem,
stop, think next time you are in town,
if your dog dose its business,
for every ones sake, please clear up and remove everything that's Brown.

(this really dose wind the joe up but what can be done ? any ideas ? no cruel ones please lol night night all i am off to bed now )

You get the odd bit, I personally clean up after my dog, but cat shit is a much bigger problem, they dont just do it on the pavement, they do it all over your garden too and NONE of the owners EVER clean it up. For some strange reason though, people get hostile towards me if they see my dog crapping without waiting to see if I clean it up but no one gets hostile to the cat owners. Funny that.

Probably because of the following example...

This line represents the typical size of cat shit.

This line represents the typical size of dog shit.

See the difference? :p

My neighbors are horrible about it. It's all over the grassy area right in front of the building, which translates to right outside every single one of my windows. :( I just don't see how hard it is. Yeah, it's gross, but it needs to be done.

Unfortunately, I don't see anyway for the complex to enforce a no-poo rule.

Where I live..... it's horse poo! And the owners NEVER clean it up.

It's particularly great fun when they drop some right in front of the mailbox at the street. Or in the middle of your driveway entrance.

Yeah, the police are never picking up their horse crap after the West Ham match when they use them to control the crowd and it's far bigger than dog and cat shit. Pretty hypocritical of them to hand out £100 fines to dog owners, dont you think?

For sure! I can't believe they don't use 'bags' on the horses... like in some parades. Or at least hire someone to take care of it after all is said and done.

Do what I do in the winter, when dogs poop on my property, I get my shovel and dump it on their step just outside the door.:ninja
These aren't the immediate neighbor's horses. They curb their horses and either scoop it into the ditch area or sack it up. My road is a cut through to acres and acres of trails down the end of the road. A lot of horse riders, offroad bikers/vehicles, snowmobilers, etc..... use the road as their thoroughfare.

Usually the hubby will get the shovel and ditch it. If it were up to me.... I'd just drive the car over it a few hundred times and... well.... sooner or later it'd be gone. :D

..... although the mail starts to pile up until it's gone ....... *shrugs*

Hose poo has nothing on cat/dog poo. Cat/dog poo is VILE. :yuk I don't mind horse poo at all. :ninja
Cat poo is the worse! I have an indoor cat and I am in charge of his little box area. Sometimes the odor can blind you! :willy_nilly:

The dog poo isn't too bad so long as it's not raining. Mushy poo pick up is the pits. :thumbdown

Spain is the worst country for this.

Dog owners generally let their dogs crap everywhere and seldom pick it up. Picking it up is a very new phenomenon over here.

I've seen dog owners let their dogs poop on someone's door step and simply walk away. I've seen others let their dogs crap on the beach, with kids playing nearby.

It's indicative of this country's attitude: everything is someone else's problem, a lingering remnant of living under a Fascist dictatorship under Franco.

I think it's seriously bad form.
