Does anyone remember...

I'm not about getting the presents anymore, I enjoy buying them for others and making them happy especially when they get what they wanted and didn't buy for themselves.

I made a strict rule. I only buy for the kids. Us adults know what Christmas is really about. We dont need to go nutz getting each other shit we know we cant afford. Just take care of the kids and we can all have a merry time watching the joy on their faces and having a few beers and some good food. Its about the kids and family.

when you were a child and you used to look forward to christmas? I mean it was the best holiday b/c you received all of these presents.

And now as an adult you dread christmas? At least I know I do. There is just way to much buying that I have to do. I enjoy buying for other people, but it's the fact of getting that money together. And every year I always seem to be saving later and later for presents.

But you can look forward to Logan opening gifts, nothing is cooler than that.

Well, I use to LOVE christmas, but this year I wont as much.. Depending on what happens with the house, my money is gonna be tied up in that.. meaning my kids MAY not get a good christmas from me.. which means, Daddy is gonna outdo mommy and that hurts.

I have to disagree with you here V - they will always have the very special love and hugs of a Mummy - their Mummy - you can't beat that V. Plus, a new home with their very special Mummy, means security, warmth and much love, so you need not worry hun. *huge hug* :)
