When you see a thread about snooker, the simple concept that most people assume is that it is about snooker, not some internet gimmick and a middle aged woman flirting with each other. If wasteofspace could just call these threads, "Sadie, I've Got A Hard On For You" it would make things much clearer. :thumbup

Back to the snooker. There is a player from Wales called Dominic Dale who is completely mad. He wears colourful shirts such as yellow, red and bright pink and when he wins a tournament he sings. Nice man but they call him the spaceman because he is on another planet!

the Joe nos Dominic D and i agree a great credit to snooker and i enjoy watching him play. all he needs now it to get more consistent at winning and he will be well on his way.


one more great guy to watch is peter ebdon < hes a right charector.

Boring? He's one of the few players who brings colour to the sport, maybe he takes time on shots because he is not as talented as other players such as O'Sullivan and Robertson- but they haven't got the balls to wear a bright pink shirt.

Taking time on shots can sometimes be fun if it's a thrilling game and neither player wants to make an error, but not in his case. I remember a match he played against O'Sullivan in 2006 where he spent at least 5 minutes on every shot in a particular frame. I like snooker as a sport, yeah you need patience to watch it but it can be rewarding. But I also watch it to be entertained to a degree, and Ebdon provides neither that or a good match to watch.
