Does anyone else like to fish?

Ahh gotcha. I just put bait on the hook and whip it in the water hope I catch something. :D Extend to my knowledge, although I do know how to gut and fillet a fish :D

Any woman who will admit knowing how to clean fish is aces in my book. I clean what I keep.

At this time I like to fish for women.. :D:D

But I used to go fishing for trout.. Rainbow was my fav....

My only rainbows were caught out of a pond in Tennessee on corn. The place was designed for catch and eat right there on the side of the pond. It was very interesting and could not be fresher than catching it and 20 minutes later eating it.

My friends Dad, who took us fishing with him said, if we were going to fish we had to put the bait on, take fish off, and clean and eat it, otherwise he'd not take us :D

Gonna big up the monster I caught! :eek

We found that gutting the fish right after catching them was the best.. If you knife them right away after getting them you can usually gut them out clean with no issues..

I took both of my kids fishing a lot when they were young. My daughter loved to fish from the start. My son was never patient enough to enjoy fishing.

I was working with the Royal Ambassadors at church, which consists of boys between kindergarten & 6th grade. We planned an RA fishing trip. I asked the other instructors if my daughter could go with us since she was 5 or 6 at the time and they said sure. The day of the fishing trip many of the boys were totally clueless and I spent my day baiting hooks, removing fish and untangling tangled up equipment. I had put my daughter over to the side where she could just fish cause I was confident she could handle anything for herself. After a few hours I looked around to find she was baiting hooks and removing fish for the boys. DAD could not have been prouder as she was more boy than they were.:thumbup

That's a great story!
Always nice to hear when the girls out do the boys in what is typically a guys arena.

I really wish I still fished, when I did it was mainly rainbow trout (Like Francis) and on the odd occasion when up north, small salmon.
