So I just saw SAW IV yesterday
And it was fucking amazing! Definately the best out of all 3 so far! I loved how well it was incorporated into the existing films, as well as showing us things we've never seen/known. This movie was just great. Words can't express how much I loved this movie. Just like with SAW III, I screamed, got scared, almost cried, and loved the movie! We didn't really get depth with the characters as much as the other movies, but I still loved it. The one thing I wasn't a big fan of was how they would start a flashback, cut to present time, then continue the flashback a few minutes later. I felt that would confuse people. I understood it fine, but I still loved the movie! I don't get why people are hating it so much! The one scene that I almost cried at was with Eric on the ice block, when he said, "I don't wanna play anymore. Just kill me already".
That was horrible. He even jumped off the block to try and kill himself.

SAW IV was happening at the exact same time as SAW III. That's why they show Jeff again. Notice you hear Amanda crying and talking, then we see her get shot? Basically, the entire movie was one big flashback. It was a continuation of SAW III. While Jigsaw was doing his game with Amanda and Jeff, Rigg was doing his game with Hoffman and Eric.
The morgue scene happened after the events of SAW III/SAW IV, they just showed it to us at the beginning to confuse us, and make us believe that this movie is taking place after SAW III, then again at the end to wrap it up and show us we were wrong. Als, obviously the police somehow unlocked the room to get John's body. Which means Strahm(The Agent locked in the room to die) must be alive

Because, as a fan, I would expect you to not want the movie ruined for you so why would you ruin it for someone else?

Dude, it's not really that big of a deal. Like you guys said, everybody supposedly hates the movie this year, so if they hate it, it shouldn't bother them Besides, I read a few spoilers, so I didn't really mind.
