Just goes to show the world is filled with intolerant assholes. May they all someday get their own opinions served right back to them. Karma can be one mean bitch.
Facebook, it just got serious :24::24:John if she commits suicide because she lost her job, she had a pretty low self-esteem to start with. Again, if you don't want to lay yourself open for criticism don't POST STUPIDITY ON FACEBOOK. The good thing, people's memories are very short and something else will capture the headlines soon. It's not like the girl killed anyone or led anyone else to committ suicide. With time noone will remember this and she can go on with life, hopefully wiser.
First world problems... LOL
I wonder how all these people that wanted this girl fired will feel if she is so distraught she committs suicide? If she did kill herself, should the assholes that started the Facebook pages calling for her termination be prosecuted like in this case?

John
I think there is a difference between someone who video's someone without them knowing it and then showing it to the world as compared to people who are so pissed off they go online to voice their opinion about the actions someone took that they find disrespectful.

If she was being paid to be there, and her employment contract has clauses around bring the company into disrepute, there's grounds for disciplinary action. Since it has no bearing on her ability to do her job, I'd say that dismissal is a harsh outcome.
I would like to think that the company may change their mind and hire her back in the near future.
but that was their choice... I may not agree with it but that is there choice... It's fucking social media... Myspace wouldn't have got this much fucking attention...I seem to remember you posting in the past about the pictures people post on their Facebook of their kids at the dentist and stuff like that, no???

I'm sure that none of the cemetery's residents complained.
Not wishing to be flippant about it, but the whole 'reverence towards dead servicemen' thing seem little more than a marketing exercise to me. If you can't die a hero, there seems to be little merit in dying for your country.
Basically what you have there is a field full of the remains of brave and hardened service people. People who not only would defend your right to speak freely and be who you are, but have defended your rights as an American to speak freely and be who you are. People who fought hard, partied hard, and probably 'flipped the bird' themselves on occasion.
I flip the bird at those who CHOOSE to harass this girl for not being empathetic enough to understand the wider context of the sign that she is mocking.I don't approve of her behaviour, but I don't believe you should witch hunt for lack of decorum......and I think it's crass that someone thought that such a sign was necessary in the first place.
Our servicemen put their lives on the line every day to ensure the freedom that we have. That freedom includes the freedom to make errors of judgement without being disproportionately punished If we're going to allow a bunch of bullies to harass anyone they dislike out of a job for reasons that have absolutely no bearing on their ability to complete that job, then those service men and women may well have died in vain.
Obviously needed due to brats like this...who even then dont respect them.and I think it's crass that someone thought that such a sign was necessary in the first place.

Hey look ^^^^^ - it's "The Chickenhawk" come to talk shit.
Point to the posts of proof that supports your position of saying I am a chicken hawk....{calling someone a draft dodger is pretty serious john}
You wont..so here we are.
And while calling names is against the rules...I am not going to report your post,,not my style.
But since you wont be able to provide...well the forum can just refer to John as the liar.
Do what you do best John.
The little brat got fired I dont see the problem here.
She couldnt have picked a worse place to act like a juvenile.
Thing is she isnt a kid.
She intentionally mocked the place.
And defied authority while doing such.
She accomplished what she set out to do and wanted the world to know about it.
The finger flipping was just to much.
The fact she made it a point to do it at the sign makes it worse.
"Silence and respect"
She said fuck you and your sign.
TBO i would have fired her had she done the same thing at the library at a "please keep quiet sign"
Let alone the location she decided to be a brat rebel.
I suspect she didnt have proper discipline as a child and has become what she is as a result.
Some firm hands placed across the ass years ago could have avoided such behavior today.
We are waiting John?
Are you going to provide or are you just chickenshit.
